Procon notifica hospital particular por cobrar preço abusivo no teste de Covid em Palmas

Acréscimo no preço do produto foi de R$ 50%. Procon Municipal informou que o estabelecimento também não estava realizando a emissão do recibo de compra aos consumidores.

Um hospital particular foi notificado pelo Procon de Palmas após uma denúncia por cobrar um preço abusivo para realizar o teste de Covid-19. Com o aumento no número de casos da doença, desde o início do ano, a procura pelos itens tem crescido tanto na rede pública como na particular.

A denúncia foi feita por um morador que relatou que o estabelecimento aumentou o preço do teste rápido de R$ 80 a para R$ 120, acréscimo de 50%. Além disso, também não estava realizando a emissão do recibo de compra aos consumidores.

O Procon estadual informou que também vem monitorando a questão e que na quarta-feira (26), além do hospital, notificou duas farmácias e nove laboratórios por, supostamente, praticar preços elevados na comercialização dos exames. Todos os estabelecimentos terão que apresentar notas fiscais dos valores que pagaram aos fornecedores dos testes.

O secretário-executivo de Defesa do Consumidor do Procon Municipal de Palmas, Dulcélio Stival, explicou que o estabelecimento recebeu prazo de 48 horas, que termina nesta quinta-feira (27), para apresentar as notas fiscais de compra ou comprovar o motivo do aumento.

Ele também orientou que os consumidores que constatarem algum produto ou serviço oferecido com preços acima da média ou considerados abusivos devem realizar a denúncia.
